Porto Istana makes a wonderful base for a vacation in Sardinia, combining excellent facilities (including a pool and tennis courts) and ease of access to the island’s attractions. The local beach (only 300m away, across the residence’s grounds) has windsurfing equipment for rent and there are regular boat trips from nearby Porto San Paolo (3km).
The accommodation has splendid views of the coast and of the island nature reserve of Tavolara, well worth visiting for its majestic crags and magical grottos. The nearest shops are a kilometre away and the area has several restaurants, pizzerias and bars. The port of Olbia (8km) has excellent facilities, a new shopping centre and an airport.

This is a charming vacation apartment, suitable for six guests. There are two entrances, one leading to a furnished verandah with splendid views, the other leading to the apartment’s two parking places. Airy and simply decorated, the accommodation has a spacious, welcoming atmosphere.
The ground floor consists of the kitchen, dining and living room (with colour TV). There are three double bedrooms on the upper floor, the largest of which has a sea view terrace. There are two bathrooms with showers and a washing machine on this floor.

Prices (in EURO) range from €290 per week in April to €940 for the last week in August. The apartment is not available during the Easter holiday or the first three weeks of August. Special monthly and weekly rates apply between 1 Oct 2003 and 1 Apr 2004. A final cleaning charge of €40 applies.
