A charming apartment in Taormina, Sicily, Casa del Sole makes a delightful base for your vacation on this delightful Mediterranean island.
The apartment is a restructured "antica bottega", transformed into an ideal holiday home in the centre of lovely Taormina. The house is set on two floors: it has a beautiful linear structure (and is very comfortable), and is built with traditional local materials, including Sicilian terracotta floors and volcanic tufa stone for the indoor stairs and basins in the bathrooms. Kitchen worktops and bathroom furniture are in whitened wood, made by a local artisan.

On the ground floor there is a living room with an equipped built-in kitchenette (with all modern fittings), and a dining room with an old extendable table (made from cherrywood). There is a sofa bed, state-of-the-art sound systems, TV and DVD. The bathroom has a laundry area and a comfortable, mosaic-decorated, round-shaped shower.
Via the spacious stairs you access the upper floor of this lovely Sicilian apartment. Here you will find a bedroom with a small balcony overlooking Taormina. The furnishings have been carefully chosen: the bed dates back to 1700 and the bedside tables come from an old Tuscan convent. The mirrors are quite unique, the second bathroom also has mosaic decoration and there is an old-style bathtub.

The house is complete with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, flatscreen TV, state-of-the-art sound systems, internet access, crockery and cutlery.
Heating and air conditioning are not included in the price.
