This vacation rental apartment is on the ground floor of a villa just outside Palermo, Sicily. Peaceful and private, with shared use of the pool, the apartment makes a great vacation base in Sicily.
The location is in one of the most select areas of Palermo, on the ground floor of an extremely elegant Liberty-style villa on a hill overlooking Palermo, Monte Pellegrino and the sea.
The villa sits in the open countryside but at the same time is close to the town (just a few minutes by car), making apartment Conca d'Oro perfect for enjoying either peace, space and beauty in the grounds of the private villa with its nice pool and the garden, or for visiting central Palermo and its monuments (the property is 15 minutes away for the historic centre) of the city.
Being so close to the main road that leads to the highway, guests can also enjoy daily trips to Monreale, Cefalù, Caccamo, Solunto, Segesta, Mozia, Erice, Trapani, Agrigento, Selinunte, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone and the rest of the sights, and to a variety of beaches along the coast. The apartment, of about 80 square metres has been completely renovated into a charming vacation apartment suitable for 2-3 couples or for a family of up to six people.
There is also a lovely pool with changing cabin and hot shower. Beach towels are provided. The pool is given over for exclusive use by the guests from 9.30 AM to 2 PM - it is used by the owners in the afternoon. Otherwise guests can share the pool with the owners from 9.30 AM to 6 PM.

The colours of the interiors complement the warm exterior colour of the villa; on the floors old ceramics tiles are mixed with Italian terracotta, furnishings are both modern and antique, always comfortable, and the atmosphere is typical of Sicilian houses of its period.
The apartment is all on one level (there is just one step inside), and has both heating and air conditioning in each room. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a living room with table, seats, sofa and satellite TV, a small nice fully equipped kitchen (with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer), and a wardrobe room. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and one has two twin beds. Two bathrooms are en suite. One bathroom has a shower, one has tub, and one has both tub and shower.
The bathrooms are modern, gleaming and have heated towel racks. Each bedroom has access to the furnished private patio. Amenities include a washing machine and telephone (shared with the main villa and which can be used only for local calls). Children under five years are not accepted. Prices include linen, utilities, heating, air conditioning, local calls, electric and gas consumption, parking, and a linen change once each week. Final cleaning will be paid locally (€50).
