The golden sandy beaches at Punta Secca are free of charge and very safe, and are surrounded by low cliffs on the west and east. The old white lighthouse, built with dry stone at the beginning of the last century, dominates Punta Secca. This 40-metre high building towers over the coastline and is in the village's main square.

The Province of Ragusa stretches to the sea, and is dotted with beautiful carob and almond trees, picturesque dry stone walls and the typically austere local farmhouses.
