You’ll enjoy a quiet and homely atmosphere: this bed and breakfast, Sicily, Italy is in Cavour Street, just behind the Immacolata Church, among the extraordinary old aristocratic houses of the Trigona, Astuto and Castelluccio families.
The building has recently been restored, though respecting the characteristics and structure of the original and typically Sicilian architecture of the historic town centre buildings.
You can choose from several different types of accommodation, and there is a room for disabled guests. Prices range from EURO €60 to €80 per room. Accommodation includes a ticket for breakfast in a cafe in the town centre. Each room is provided with a bathroom, air conditioning and colour TV.
Noto itself is a fantastic combination of history, art, culture, long golden beaches and a fantastic blue sea. The main Corso of Noto is now pedestrianised and boasts some of Sicily’s most beautiful buildings. There is the Church of San Francesco and the graceful curve of the Church of San Domenico. There is the 18th century Duomo, flanked by two superb palazzos. There is the marvellous tree-lined Piazza Municipo and the Palazzo Villadorata. Noto is a superb whole, beautifully planned and executed by Giovanni Battista Landolina and decorated by Gagliardi two centuries ago, and carefully restored and cleaned to its honey-coloured glory in recent years.
