A lovely four-star Sicily hotel, La Rosa sul Mare is on the most beautiful hillside of the Plemmirio nature park in Siracusa, with its cliffs of white rock and its flowered terraces gently sloping down to the Ionian Sea.
300 metres away you’ll find kiosks, bars and the sailing club, where it is possible to hire and moor small boats. There are nightclubs a five-minute drive away. On request there are cars, scooters, bicycles, sailing and motor boats available for rent. There are also transfers available from and to the airport at Catania.
The sea around this Sicily hotel is a magnet for divers. On request, you can dive thanks to an agreement between the PADI and SSI Diving Centre and the hotel. The building overlooks a white rocky shore, which can be easily reached from the apartments, by means of a flight of steps.
A panoramic and pleasant overflowing swimming-pool, surrounded by palms and Mediterranean shrubs, allows you to admire the coastline, right to the far south point of Europe (Capo Passero), while staying completely immersed in the water.
Small pets are allowed, as long as you mention these on booking. Animals are not allowed in the area around the swimming-pool and on the rocky shore.
