First of all, there are no 'persistent' cookies whatsoever on
this site - surf to your anonymous heart's content. The adverts
script that we use may attempt to set a 'session-only' cookie,
as does the 'journal' section - we'd turn them off if we could.
Our contact form uses an
optional 'session-only' cookie
to save you the trouble of retyping your details when writing
to different properties. In order to receive a reply to your enquiries
you clearly have to supply an email address, but rest assured
that we will not pass on or attempt to re-sell your address in
any way.
We cannot and do not accept any responsibility for what others
may choose to do with your email address, but we have yet to receive
a single complaint regarding junk mail or the like.
Our web server automatically logs the IP/Internet address of your
computer, but this information does not identify you personally
and you remain anonymous unless you have otherwise provided knowital.com
with personal information. We do not carry out any tracking, profiling
or usage studying of any kind whatsoever.
We do reserve the right to contact you via email should we feel
the occasion merits it, but such contact will only ever emanate
from and pertain to the knowital.com website. And frankly, being
that organised (still) seems a long way off right now.
In terms of usage, the knowital.com website forwards your enquiries
directly to the property (or its representative) according to
your selection(s). This data is not encrypted in any way - it
is implicitly assumed that the data is not of a nature meriting
the use of a secure server. Should you subsequently use knowital.com
to transmit personal data to a property/service on our site then
we accept no responsibility for subsequent use or misuse of said
data. Again, we are plain old advertisers and have nothing at
all to do with subsequent bookings/transactions - the security
and authenticity of such are not in any way our responsibility.
Our site includes the occasional link to other (external) sites.
Should you choose to visit these sites, we are not in any way
responsible for their privacy policies or how they treat user
information. We are not responsible for the actions and policies
of these third parties, and you should review the privacy policies
of these parties when supplying personally identifiable information
to them.
Copyrighted material. The vast majority of images and text on
this site are supplied to us by customers, and we reproduce it
in good faith. We will respect copyrighted material under all
circumstances, and should you find any material that is reproduced
here without permission, please notify us at

and we will remove offending material immediately.
This site is created in Italy and the owning company is registered
in Italy (No. 01762350468) and as such operates under the Italian
privacy Act 675/96, Article 10. The rights of the customer are
protected by article 13 of the same Act. The articles (in Italian)

but below are the salient points:
The customer's personal data are recorded under the terms of Article
10 of the Italian Act 675/96, for the sole purpose of operating
the requested services, and effecting the relevant communication
requested by the customer.
The data will be given only to the structure or service provider
(or their representative) which is advertising on the knowital.com
site, or to third parties authorised to carry out the services
on behalf of said advertiser.
The customer is protected by Article 13 of Act 675/96 and, in
particular, can require their personal data to be deleted from
knowital.com's records at any time, by sending a simple written
request. This may also be done via
email.
