An example - The Brunello di Montalcino tour sets off from your villa or hotel in Siena at about 9:30 and wends southwards, stopping to visit a little winery and sample some wines. We then drive through the rolling clay hills and vineyards of Siena, past Mount Amiata to a tiny olive oil producer at Montenero. Here you'll learn to taste extra virgin olive oil, enjoying the nuances of flavour and aroma, and enjoying a marvellous view of the Val d'Orcia.  Lunch is in Castelnuovo dell'Abate - bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and olive oil, homemade pecorino and pasta, and of course some excellent wines - all in the cellar of a tiny, family-run winery. After lunch we'll stroll round the hilltop village of Montalcino, before returning to your villa or hotel at about 5pm. Prices for this tour range from Euro €150 per head (4 to 8 people) to €220 (1 to 3 people).

On other tours you'll see the harmonious hills of Pienza and Montepulciano, the terrific views of Chianti and San Gimignano’s towers, exploring the bits most tourists never see. Sit back and be driven around the villages you want to visit. Lunch is up to you, but the team will be pleased to suggest the most typical Tuscan restaurants of the area, where you can taste traditional dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and extra virgin olive oil.
