In the heart of the Valdichiana, this old farmhouse lies on a 160 hectare farm, the Fattoria di Brolio. The surrounding fields grow corn, sunflowers and sugar beet.
The old farmhouse has been carefully restructured into nine apartments, each beautifully fitted out. These Tuscan holiday flats all have central heating, cable TV, a private bathroom with bathtub, fully equipped kitchen and a living room with divan bed. Three of the apartments have two double bedrooms.
Though completely renovated, the interiors as well as the furnishing respect the authentic Tuscany rural country style. There are terracotta tiles underfoot and wooden beams above. The garden has a swimming pool and sun-bathing facilities, a barbecue, an authentic old pizza oven, and outbuildings. The cities of Arezzo and Cortona are nearby. Arezzo dates back to the 4th century BC and is known today for gold working. The oldest area of Arezzo has preserved its architectural character and is still surrounded by its 13th century walls.
