This vacation villa in Cortona, Tuscany, Italy provides superb views of the countryside and is handily near the centre of the medieval town.

A lovely stone farmhouse situated in a panoramic location, the villa has splendid views over the Chiana Valley and over the ancient church S. Maria delle Grazie al Calcinaio. This very nice property is close to the centre of Cortona, a beautiful little medieval town whose origins date back to the Etruscan period.

The house has been recently restored but it still preserves many of its original details, such as the ancient terracotta-tiled floors and the beamed ceilings. The interiors are tastefully furnished mostly with antique pieces, creating a cosy atmosphere.

Cortona with all kinds of shops is 1km away, Camucia 1km, Arezzo about 30km. Perugia and Siena are around 50km away. The access to the house is via an unpaved but well-maintained road. The road leading to Cortona passes just 50m from the property, and parking is within the grounds.

At guests’ disposal at this vacation villa in Cortona, Tuscany, Italy is a terraced garden offering extensive views over the surrounding landscape and a small stone swimming pool (3.5 x 4m, open from 01/05 to 30/09) provided with hydromassage jets and a charming waterfall. Maid service is available by arrangement (€15 per hour to be paid on the spot). There is a laundry with washing machine and iron. All of the bedrooms are provided with air-conditioning.

The villa, Calcinaio, sleeps 5-6, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a total floor area of 150 square metres. On the ground floor is an entrance hall; living room (with satellite TV) with fireplace and dining area; kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher) with fireplace and dining area; bedroom with a single bed; bathroom with tub (jacuzzi). The first floor (access is possible via an external stone staircase too) has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower (jacuzzi).

Weekly prices are as follows, with extra costs including the €300 deposit, final cleaning of €70 heating and electricity according to consumption:
