Tuscany vacation rentals - just 15km outside Florence, Villa Calcinaia provides an immaculate holiday apartment for eight in Tuscany, with shared use of a large swimming pool.
This Italian holiday villa is divided into two separate apartments - the ground floor home to Signora Paola and her family, with the upper floor comprising the three-bedroom vacation rental apartment. Each of the two floors has separate entrances, and the villa sits within a large, and meticulously tended, garden.
The first floor holiday flat is designed and furnished in the same elegant style as the owner's nearby Villa Fienilino. The owners have personally supervised the remodelling of the house, with a subtle and imaginative use of colours. Gentle Siena yellows, oranges, greens and reds complement the furnishings and sit nicely with the wood-beamed ceilings, brickwork, and wood and terracotta floors.
The apartment (covering around 2100 square feet) has a TV room and a separate kitchen/dining room. This has a full-sized fridge-freezer, an oven, a four-ring hob and a dishwasher. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The Green bedroom has two single beds, the Red bedroom a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, the Yellow room a double bed with en-suite bathroom and the last bedroom has two single beds. There are two further bathrooms, one with a shower.
Just 30 metres from the house you'll find a lovely swimming pool (6 x 12 metres) tucked away. This pool is shared with guests of Il Fienilino. And there is a private gazebo in the garden for your use - with tables and chairs, this is ideal for dining al fresco, taking a relaxing evening drink, or just bathing in the tranquility of the gardens.
