About 5km away from the market town of Greve in Chianti, going up into the hills in the direction of San Michele, you reach Le Cetinelle, a beautiful, centuries-old Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by woodland. At 620 metres above sea level in the Chianti countryside, guests can enjoy a fresh and peaceful environment, yet still be within easy reach of the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Not far from Le Cetinelle there is the Park of San Michele, one of the highest and most picturesque natural parks in Chianti, a marvellous area for walking in the unspoilt countryside.

Le Cetinelle offers its guests double bedrooms, each with there own bathroom, all recently restored. As well as the rooms there is also an apartment. The breakfast is served in the dining room where a cosy log fire burns in the fireplace during the colder months.

Around the farmhouse there is a spacious garden where the guests can relax in chairs or hammocks in the shade of the trees, or take a swim in the panoramic pool and sunbathe. Simonetta and Luca await your visit with pleasure. Le Cetinelle is open all year round.

Farmhouse Le Cetinelle has six big double bedrooms, roughly 15 to 20 square metres each with private bathroom. The rooms have ceilings with wooden beams and windows from where guests enjoy a good view of the huge private garden and of the beautiful natural surroundings. All the bedrooms have been recently restored and are painted in different colours such as blue, lilac, yellow, green, peach and ivory. Five of the six rooms are situated on the first floor while only one is situated on the second floor in a small 16th century tower, from which even Florence's lights are visible. The rooms are romantic, comfortable, quiet and finished with great care. There is also internet point and wireless point access.

The dining room, comfortable and intimate, is situated on the first floor. It has a big old fireplace which warms up the coldest season. Here, every morning from 8.30 to 9.30, a huge breakfast with home made cakes and marmalade, bread, juice, coffee, milk, tea and many other good things is served. Bedrooms and bathroom are cleaned every day, clean towels are  provided daily. Sheets are changed every 3-4 days.

Le Cetinelle's apartment is situated on the ground floor. It has a private entrance into the farmhouse courtyard and a secondary one on to the garden, a double or triple bedroom with two big windows from where the guests can enjoy a beautiful view, a big dining room/or a second double bedroom with fireplace, TV, DVD, well-equipped kitchen (with crockery, cutlery, sink, refrigerator and oven), a huge private bathroom with washing machine and a double shower. The apartment, recently restored, is comfortable, quiet, bright, cool in summer and warm in winter.

On request, your hosts can provide hair-dryers and cots for babies and they can organise the following activities. There are relaxing or therapeutic massage treatments, and from Le Cetinelle there are wonderful walks. If you would like a guide to accompany you, let them know in advance and they can make a reservation. The stupendous San Michele Nature Park is 4km away. Here guests can walk through the woods along clearly marked footpaths. They can arrange the hire of mountain bikes, and in the swimming pool there are acquagym sessions. For something more restful, your hosts can organise painting and drawing sessions with professional artists, and they can arrange visits to local wine-cellars and estates, where you can see the vineyards and taste the wine. If you are interested in traditional Tuscan cooking they can arrange a cookery class. Please note that all the above activities must be booked in advance.
