This beautiful Tuscan villa is located amongst olive groves in the hills surrounding Florence. The house has medieval origins and has been recently renovated to a very high standard. It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and sleeps 8/9. The house has a wonderful eclectic mix of Italian contemporary design and traditional style, which blend in seamlessly with the original architecture. There is a stunning 13 x 5 metre pool with a fast-flow current machine. The owner and his family live in the property 10 months of the year, consequently it has a warm and friendly atmosphere. There are numerous terraces, all with panoramic Tuscan views and outside eating areas. There is a comprehensive range of English-speaking satellite TV channels. The property is secluded and private but is very near Florence (10km). There is a local village with a shop/bar and restaurant just five minutes (2km) drive away. The airports at Florence (45 minutes), Pisa (90), Bologna (120), are all suitably convenient for the house.
The house is near Villamagna, with easy access to Chianti, Siena, Lucca etc. Although near Florence, Il Bosco is in unspoilt countryside mainly consisting of olive groves and vineyards. The Versilian coast, with its numerous beaches, is 80 minutes drive. The nearest rail station is in Florence and the nearest motorway junction Firenze Sud, 6km away.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner. A €500 cash deposit is payable on arrival and will be returned on departure less telephone calls and breakages.
This detached farmhouse has a floor area of 300 square metres. It has central heating, maid service, linen provided, safe, telephone, towels provided. The kitchen has a four-ring stove, clothes dryer, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, grill, hob, microwave, oven, washing machine. The living room has a fireplace and seating for nine. The dining room seats nine too. Three of the bathrooms have toilet, bath with shower and bidet; the fourth has toilet, shower and bidet. Most of the bathrooms are very large. All have modern fittings and are very light and airy. Bedroom One has a large double bed and a single; the other three bedrooms have a double bed apiece. The extra bed in the master bedroom is a fold-up and could be moved to a different location.
The house has CD, DVD, satellite or cable, stereo system, TV, video player. Outside there is a barbecue, car parking, garden, terrace, nine garden chairs, plus the pool. The living area consists of a very large open plan dining/living, TV/kitchen room. There is an additional living area with large French windows looking onto an outside terrace with a dining table and chairs. The owners can add extra facilities for babies on request, such as high chairs.
