This Tuscany vacation rental lies in a 17th century villa (sleeps 8), and is located among the Chianti Classico hills, only 7km from Florence and within large lawned gardens.

Borgo Molinaccio is a small hamlet just outside Firenze Certosa, composed of several apartments and a beautiful villa with three double bedrooms and a suite with en-suite kitchen and private terrace.

Borgo Il Molinaccio is situated in its own private wooded park surrounded by lovely open countryside. It stretches over approximately 16 hectares of land, five hectares given over to woodland, suitable for walks, picnics and mushroom picking!

The setting here is quite lovely. A road lined with cypresses leads to the late 17th century villa, which is elegantly decorated with antique furniture and paintings. The villa opens out onto a private furnished garden with a barbecue, and onto the extensive (and very pretty) grounds, which overlook the countryside. The owners live on the ground floor of the villa and are always on site for help and advice.

The villa is furnished with antiques and is in typical Tuscan  style. The large living room has a fireplace, lovely sitting  area, a dining table for 8 people, and easy access to the private  garden where there is garden furniture for eating 'al fresco' and barbecue.

You will love your stay at Molinaccio: the owners live in the premises and are always available for assistance, so you will feel the warm atmosphere of a typical italian family!

The Piano Nobile of the villa - the first floor - has been given over to the bedrooms, each one with central heating. From the  entrance, lying across the Italian garden, you walk to the main  entrance and a set of stone stairs leading up to the first floor, where the four rooms are located. The rooms are all spacious,  furnished in style and withantique pieces. The three double bedrooms are in typical Tuscan style, offering modern facilities such as en- suite bathrooms with shower, satellite TV and fridge. The suite,  also with en-suite bathroom, has a large window where steps lead up to the terrace overlooking the Italian garden. It also has its own  small separate kitchen with two electric hobs and sink, and a window  facing the front garden.

All the rooms share a living room with a kitchenette with four gas hobs, sink, washing machine, electric oven and microwave, toaster, freezer, mixer and American coffee machine.

A circular swimming-pool is located at the top of a track next to the villa, where the farmhouse overlooks the open countryside. The swimming pool is also shared with the owners. Nearby these Tuscany vacation rentals you will find a number of sporting clubs with tennis courts, a thermal spa and pool, horse riding stables and golf courses.

The little village of Falciano is 1.2 km away. It has a grocers shop open seven days, and there are two restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine. On request, bridge classes, painting and pottery painting decoration courses can be organised for you.

Lying just south of the Renaissance city of Florence, this Tuscany vacation rental lies in the middle of the classic Chianti countryside. This area of Tuscany, stretching down from Florence to Siena, is what many of us picture when we dream of Tuscany. A long stretch of hill towns and vineyards, bathed in sunshine and superb light during the summer, and mild in the depths of winter, and with many hundreds of acres of woodland complementing the vineyards and fields. Serried rows of olives and grapes roll over the hills.

Art decor and bridge classes are available on request. The course will take place 16th April 2007 to 20th April 2007 at the Villa. The painter Florence d'Ersu will be staying at the villa with her husband and children. Please contact the owners for further details.

There are two separate apartments available for a minimum stay of three nights, Marcello which sleeps 2 people and Architetto which sleeps 6 people.

Apartment Marcello lies on the first floor. Kitchen/dining room - 1 double bedroom - 1 bathroom with shower. Furnished garden area. Access via some steps to the first floor (there is only one  apartment). The door opens into the open kitchen which is complete with gas range, fitted electric oven, large fridge, and is newly  refurbished. There is a small living area with satellite television. One double bedroom with views over the countryside, small bath with shower. The cost is €500 per week - all expenses are included except central heating.

Apartment Architetto has 3 bedrooms and accommodates 6 guests. Access through a large terrace which is shared with the italian  family living next door. Entrance  into a corridor which leads to the two double bedroms (both with en-suite bathrooms, one bedroom has a balcony) and to the stairs leading to the large living area. This has a large sofa and a large table for 10 people, wooden floors, is bright and spacious, and the windows open into the private garden facing the fruit trees and the large gardens. The open kitchen is fully equipped. There is another spacious bedroom on this floor, with twin or double bed. The design of this apartment was the work of a famous architect from Finland. Available at the special cost of € 1100 per week - all expenses are included except central heating.
