Residence La Cappella provides Italy holiday rentals — bed and breakfast holiday apartments in the grounds of a splendid villa just outside Florence.
The minimum stay is generally a week, though three-night stays can be arranged in the low season. This is marvellous accommodation, with a renovated chapel sleeping 2+2 and two double rooms in a nearby building. This gives you the best of both worlds — a vacation in the tranquillity and peace of the Tuscan countryside, yet you can be in Florence very quickly.
This is a peaceful, secluded setting on the historic Strozzi-Riccardi estate, in more than 20 hectares of private land, at the foot of the Settignano hill, and immersed in olive groves and meadows. You approach the house by an avenue lined with pine trees, and there is a large garden with tables, chairs, and deckchairs. You also have access to a courtyard adjoining the owners’ villa next door, and there is a glass conservatory for dining, relaxing or playing table tennis.

Now restored in neo-Classical style, the one-bedroom apartment beautifully complements the original building. Retaining its charm and beauty it is furnished throughout with antiques.
