Casa Mezzuola sits atop a hill just outside the town of Greve, named after the river Greve upon whose banks the town sits. You can find out more about Greve elsewhere on the site, but suffice it to say that it holds the region of Chianti's largest wine fair each September.
Sitting in the heart of Chianti you would think that the farm of Casa Mezzuola would produce wine, it doesn't, producing instead the region's other famed liquid, high quality olive oil.

The farmhouse originally dates back to the early 12th century and has been carefully restored by the owners, the Franconeri family. The accommodation is available all year round, and during the summer months, where the minimum duration for rental is one week, early reservations are strongly recommended.
The accommodation consists of three fully furnished apartments situated in two of the ancient farm buildings. Each apartment has its own entrance and is described in detail on the next page
