An ancient hamlet of houses nestling deep amidst green hills, this Tuscany accommodation, Italy comprises restored stone farmhouses with a swimming pool.
The houses have been restored with their original architectural features preserved, and converted into elegant and spacious accommodation. All of the apartments are tastefully furnished in a typical Tuscan style. This 200-hectare estate also includes a beautiful Renaissance villa dating back to the year 1500, once the residence of Giovanni della Casa, a Vatican statesman author of important works like the Galateo (book of etiquette).

This Tuscany accommodation, Italy is well positioned too. Borgo San Lorenzo with all kinds of shops is 3km, Scarperia with golf course 5km, Florence 27km. At guests’ disposal is a large completely fenced garden; two swimming pools (16 x 8m – open from 01/04 to 31/10) with Jacuzzi area; wellness centre (sauna, Turkish bath, gym at €15 per day). There is a restaurant, a wine bar available for tasting of local wines and cheeses and for daily breakfast (on request).

There is also table tennis, a volleyball court, a playground for children, barbecue, tennis court (€8 per hour), a private furnished outdoor area and independent entrance for all of the apartments. There is covered parking within the grounds, a shared laundry with washing machine (€7.50 per wash). All of the apartments are provided with satellite TV and telephone, and mountain bikes are available for rent.
On request it is possible to arrange guided tours, bike tours, Italian language lessons, cooking and painting classes. The produce of the estate is available for clients to purchase.
