Zefiro is a very distinctive apartment, with a Mansard roof and tower. Sleeping up to five, the living/dining room has a double sofabed and cooking corner. Also on the ground floor is the first bathroom, with shower. Climbing into the tower, there is a single bedroom, and a double room with private bathroom.Even before you set off sightseeing, there's plenty to do at Paternino. The magnificent swimming pool - incorporating hydro-massage - is in a superb situation, set atop the wooded slopes that surround the house. There is a marvellous sun terrace, and further terraces elegantly shaded from the sun. If you are in the mood for exercise, you'll enjoy the fully equipped gym; there are mountain bikes for hire, and a floodlit tennis court for day or night play.

You'll find local shops at Pozzale (4.5km away) including a bank, supermarket, chemist, 24-hour petrol station and weekly fruit and vegetable market. The nearest post office is at Monterappoli, 3km away.
There's barbecue equipment at your disposal at Paternino, and if you decide to eat out you'll find very good restaurants nearby, including the excellent Trattoria da Sciabolino just 4.5km away.
And Paternino is a perfect base for travelling around Tuscany. The train station at Empoli is just 6km away, with frequent trains taking you to Florence in around half an hour.
