Weekly rental per apartment is EURO €455 low season, €525 mid season, €623 high season. Nightly rental is €65, €75 and €89 depending on season, minimum two nights. Lunch is €18 per person, €9 for children 2 to 8 years; buffet breakfast is €6 (€4 children). The price for sofa bed is €10 per night. Visa and Master Card are accepted. Pets are welcome at no charge. Wi-fi internet connection is available at no charge.

There are 3 romantic suites, each with private entrance and facilities.

All guests with bookings of a week or more are also offered a Tuscan dinner prepared with our own organic produce. Daily courses on Tuscan cooking are also available.

For April and May three nights cost €35 per person per night in apartment, €40 in b&b and €60 for biological organic breakfast and typical Tuscan meal. One week in apartment for two persons costs €420 instead of €525. For a minimum stay of three nights there is a 10% discount.

For June and July three nights cost €40 per person per night in apartment and €65 for biological organic breakfast and typical Tuscan meal. One week in apartment for two persons costs €520 instead of €623. For a minimum stay of three nights there is a 10% discount.

Prices include VAT, bed and bathroom linen changed weekly, water, gas and electricity, heating (from 1 November to 30 April) and cleaning on departure.

On request you can have a baby cot, single bed and highchair. Ask about prices for additional beds. Check with your hosts for booking, payment and confirmation procedure.

Podere il Poggiolo has six hectares of olive trees, vines and fruit trees. Recently, different species of blackberries and raspberries have been planted. The entire production is organic, certified by AIAB and lovingly tended by the owners.

Sip the local wine, produced on the farm following the old tradition handed down from generation to generation. Savour the sweet must, pressed from the bunches of grapes harvested during the vintage festival. Taste Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, discovering the intense fragrance of this precious golden juice just out of the mill. Rediscover a taste for fresh vegetables and garden produce and the scent of fruit just plucked from the tree. The owners also produce salami and ham.

All this will bring back sensations long forgotten, letting you rediscover the pleasure of wholesome life in close, respectful contact with nature.

On request, traditional Tuscan meals can be prepared using organic products. Price per person is €20.

You’ll find this vacation rental Tuscany easy to reach both from the main airports at Florence and Pisa (or indeed Rome) and from the main highways. Though it is in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, access is very easy. The closest railway station is at Rufina, 4km from the holiday farm, with good connections to Florence Santa Maria Novella station. The train is in fact a good alternative to the car for visiting Florence.
