Holiday rentals in Italy - These traditional but fully-equipped holiday rental apartments lie on a farm between San Gimignano and Volterra in Tuscany. A beautiful location, and an excellent farm holiday for children and families, with a swimming pool, mountain bikes, hiking and easy access to Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
This is a lovely rural setting. Sitting atop a hill, 400 metres above sea level, the farm covers some 190 hectares. Reached via a dirt road, the estate produces wheat and olives, and includes unspoiled woodland with sparrow-grass, mushrooms and wild boar. Within the estate there is a 12-metre swimming pool, barbecue, a children's playground, mountain biking and peaceful hiking. Nearby, you'll discover horse-riding, a fishing lake and typical Tuscan restaurants.
The six apartments, all restored in 1999, each have independent central heating. All have kitchens with a dishwasher, fridge and small oven, and all have satellite TV and telephone. They share a common washing machine.
L'Olivo measures 75 square metres, sleeping 4+2. This is a beautiful apartment, with its own garden and pergola. It has a living room with a sofa bed for two, a fireplace and plenty of natural light. There is a kitchen, a double bedroom, a further bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower cubicle.
Il Leccio measures 70 square metres, sleeping 4+2. Lying on the first floor, it has its own entry via a stairway. It has a big living room with a corner kitchen and a sofa bed for two. The flat has a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with shower cubicle. This apartment has a beautiful view of Volterra and outside there is a private pergola with a table.
Il Noce measures 45 square metres, sleeping 4+1. Lying on the first floor, it has its own outside table under the Loggia. It has a big living room/kitchen and a sofa bed for one. The flat has a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with shower cubicle.
La Pietranera measures 69 square metres, sleeping 4. Lying on the ground floor, it has two entrances. It has a living room/kitchen, a big double bedroom with fireplace and sofa, a large bedroom with two single beds, and a big bathroom with shower cubicle.
