Florence vacation rental – Villa Acacia, Tuscany, Italy

Villa l'Acacia is set in the hills above Florence in an elevated position offering splendid views. Although it is located only a few kilometres from the historic city centre with its fine art treasures and lively atmosphere, this 17th century villa offers peace and tranquillity in a quiet residential area. Accommodating ten guests comfortably (with space for a further two at an extra charge) the villa is tastefully renovated to provide modern conveniences while retaining many original features. The beautiful and inviting garden is the perfect spot to relax in luxury.

The villa is entered through a gracious courtyard. On the main floor are two living rooms, one with fireplace, and a formal dining room. A delightful sunroom opens onto the garden and terraces via French doors. Furnishings are a comfortable combination of well-stuffed sofas and chairs and family antiques. On this floor there is also a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and gas stove) and a bathroom (toilet + basin). Next to the kitchen, in an indipendent cottage there are the washing machine and the dryer and a bathroom (toile + basin).

On the next floor there are four comfortably furnished bedrooms: the large master bedroom with double bed and possibility of an additional two single beds and a wonderful private balcony offering lovely views of the city, another double bedroom with indipendent back entrance and a small kitchen, and two twin bedrooms which have access to a small balcony. There are two bathrooms one with tub and the other with shower on this floor. On the third floor there is another double bedroom and bathroom with shower and access to the small roof terrace giving great views over Florence. Every bedroom and the living room have fans on the ceiling.

There is a 8m by 4m swimming pool with large deck for taking the sun, a large garden, a barbeque and a patio. Local shops and a restaurant-pizzeria are within comfortable walking distance. A bus stop with service into the centre of Florence is only a hundred metres from the villa and there are plenty of restaurants and trattorie nearby offering local specialities and typical Tuscan cuisine.

Period C (8 January - 23 April, 29 October - 24 December) Euro 2,650 per week.

Deposit on check in: Euro 500, to be reimbursed on check out. The swimming pool is open during period A, WiFi internet connection and local telephone calls are included in the price.
