Searching for Tuscan villa rentals? The Villa Gamberaia, Florence, Tuscany is one of the premier villas in the region ... a beautiful Renaissance house, sitting within spectacular gardens.

The ground floor has an entrance with vaulted ceilings, hall and two double/twin bedrooms with bathroom (tub). The ground floor also has two elegantly appointed salons, billiard room, interior colonnaded courtyard and various administrative or meeting spaces available for receptions, conferences, exhibitions, and other functions. The first floor has five double/twin bedrooms with three bathrooms (tub/shower), a large living room leading to a furnished terrace overlooking the garden, dining room, large kitchen, laundry and lift. There is WC on both floors.

Villa Gamberaia has four houses on the property, ‘residences’ which have been carefully restored and converted into comfortable guest houses. These are furnished with family antiques, yet equipped with modern appliances and conveniences.

The apartments are called Limonaia, Cappella, Nettuno and Serretta and offer a wonderful alternative to a standard apartment for rent in Italy. The Cappella and Nettuno lie along the Garden Avenue. Cappella once belonged to the 17th-century Chapel, Nettuno was once an indoor ball court for palla a corda. Limonaia (adjoining the Lemon House) is an historic 15th century farmhouse, which belonged to the family of the distinguished sculptor and architect Bernardo Rossellino. Serretta is a small apartment sitting next to Limonaia.

Apartment La Serretta is a two-roomed apartment sleeping two over 30m². It has a living room with kitchen corner, a double/twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Weekly rental is €700 in low season, €900 in high season, air conditioning included.

Apartment La Limonaia has two entrances: from the gardens and directly from Via del Rossellino. It accommodates eight over 180m² and has heating and air conditioning. The ground floor has a spacious living room with fireplace and characteristic architectural features. There is a kitchen/dining room with large fireplace and wall oven, fully equipped with modern appliances. There is a guest bathroom and laundry room and the flat has beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The second floor has four double bedrooms, three bathrooms with shower or tub (one en-suite), windows overlooking the lemon garden, and views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Weekly rental is €2500 in low season, €3000 in high season.

Apartment La Cappella is on the bowling green, with windows looking out onto the gardens and views of Settignano and Florence. It accommodates six over 180m². The flat has heating and air conditioning. The ground floor has a large living room with dining room en-suite; beamed ceilings and terracotta floors; a double bedroom and bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The first (mezzanine) floor has two double bedrooms with bathroom (shower), a walk-in closet and storage room. Weekly rental is €2100 in low season, €2500 in high season.

Apartment Il Nettuno lies on the bowling green, with views of the gardens, Settignano and the city of Florence. It has two entrances, from the green and from the cypress arcade, with adjoining private garden. Nettuno sleeps six over 150m² and has heating and air conditioning. There is a spacious living room with a large antique fireplace and terracotta floors, three double bedrooms each with bathroom (shower), and a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen.
Weekly rental is €2100 in low season, €2500 in high season.

Euro 16.000 (low season) without the four ground-floor rooms; €18.000 (high season) without the four ground-floor rooms; €20.000 (low season) including ground floor; €22.000 (high season) including ground floor.

Rooms are available from 4pm-7:30pm on day of arrival with checkout by 10am on day of departure. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available on request. High Season is May to September, low season from October to April. The swimming pool is open from May to October and there is an open-air garage on the premises. The kitchens in the residence and in the villa are fully equipped.

Services include change of bed and bath linen twice a week, final cleaning, heating and air conditioning (only in the residence). Guests are invited to use the gardens and swimming pool at il Gamberino.

The villa is conveniently situated just 6km from Florence, and is easily accessible from the main highway. Florence airport is 10km away, Siena 60km and Pisa (and airport) 80km away. The Golf Club dell’Ugolino is 15km away.
