Hiring a property in Tuscany, Italy: in the country northeast of Florence, Villa Medicea is a vacation villa for rent for up to 18 guests.
This hugely impressive villa dates from the 15th century. Its old-world grandeur - with high wood-vaulted ceilings, big rooms and large, stone-built fireplaces - is complemented by the utmost in modern luxury. Opulently fitted out, with Murano chandeliers, marbles, decorative paintings on the walls and ceilings, and luxurious bathrooms, most of the bedrooms are of equal size, making this a great proposition for friends sharing the cost of their holiday in Tuscany.
The King bedroom has TV and VCR, and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower, two sinks, and a jacuzzi. The Queen bedroom has TV and an en-suite with bath with jacuzzi, a handheld shower and a heated towel rack. Climb nine stairs and you enter the Yellow Queen bedroom, with TV, VCR, a terrace and a big shower. Then there is the Large Queen bedroom; this has an adjoining bathroom with bathtub and a handheld shower.
The Blue double bedroom has TV and en-suite shower and bath. The Master King bedroom has a dressing room, fireplace, TV and VCR, and a shower bathroom with two sinks. From here, stairs lead to the tower, a lovely little place to escape to. There is also a half-bath on the ground floor.
For 2004 there are three new double bedrooms, all with jacuzzi, making a total of nine double bedrooms, all of them air-conditioned in this lovely Tuscan holiday house.
