Tuscany - Stylish holiday apartments on an old estate in Chianti, between Florence and Siena. The flats are in and next to an 18th century villa with a tower dating back to the year 1000.
Three of the apartments (Torre, Caminetto and Terrazza) are in the main building; three (Oleandri, Le Volte and Cortile) are in adjoining buildings at the rear of the villa); two apartments (Giardino and Bellavista) are in adjoining buildings, within the garden of the villa. Each apartment has its own private outdoor area, either in the garden (Affresco, Torre, Caminetto, Giardino, Bellavista); or outside the walls of the villa, in the separate inner courtyard (Oleandri, Le Volte, Cortile); Terrazza has its own private terrace.
Apartment Torre sleeps 2+1 over 65m². A single room with
a high ceiling, it has a bookshelf, writing desk, double bed and extra bed,
kitchen,
and
bathroom
with shower. Torre is in the imposing mediaeval tower and has high ceilings.
The apartment is traditionally furnished with antiques in plain country-house
style. The height of the tower room ceiling gives the ambience here an added
touch of class. On the first floor, it has a view of the garden.
Apartment Caminetto sleeps 4+1 over 115m². It has a living room with fireplace, kitchen, walk-through room with writing desk (which can be used as a bedroom with additional bed), two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. Caminetto is the only apartment on the main floor of the villa; this floor is accessible via a flight of steps. As it has two bathrooms and is spacious it is ideal for two couples.
Apartments Affresco, Torre and Caminetto share the impressive entrance hall of the villa. The outdoor areas of these three apartments are within the garden of the villa.
Apartment Oleandri sleeps 2 over 40m². On its ground floor, it has a kitchen-living room with large glass door; on the upper floor it has a double room and a bathroom with shower. At the rear of the villa, this flat has views of the drive and the surrounding countryside. Apartment Le Volte sleeps 2+1 over 85m². It has a living room with fireplace and additional bed (this with access to the inner courtyard). There is a small kitchen, double bedroom (with outdoor access), and a bathroom with bath.
Le Volte is at the rear of the villa. Once the stables, this flat has a large, living room with fireplace and beautiful, antique brick ceiling vaults, resting on a central pillar. The long, wooden dining table can seat a larger group of people.
Apartment Cortile sleeps 4+1 over 85m². It has a kitchen and living room, a walk-through room with sofa (which can be used as bedroom with an additional bed), two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. A nice apartment of modern design on the first floor, this flat is ideal for two couples. Bright and sunny, it offers a great view of the park and the countryside, yet in the hot season it stays nice and cool.
Aparments Oleandri, Le Volte and Cortile are at the rear of the villa (the park is on the other side) and can be accessed through an inner courtyard containing a fountain, and tables and chairs for each flat, perfect for eating and drinking outside.
Apartment Giardino sleeps 2 over 50m² of a building adjacent to the villa. It has a living room with kitchenette, double bedroom, and bathroom with shower. The apartment is laid out on the ground floor, with a glass door in the living room opening onto the garden of the villa.
Apartment Bellavista sleeps 2 over 63m², again adjacent to the villa. It has a living room, kitchen, double bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom with shower. The apartment is laid out in the ground floor, has large windows and terrific views.
Apartment Terrazza sleeps 2 over 80m². It has a living room, kitchen, double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A private 70m² terrace in front of the apartment is accessible from the living room and the bedroom, and is equipped with table, chairs and sun loungers. On the first floor of the villa, it has terrific views of the valley.

Weekly rental of Torre, Oleandri in low season is €700 and in high season is €800, Le Volte or Giardino in low season is €700 and in high season is €870. Bellavista in low season is €990 and in high season is €1140. Terrazza in low season is €1290 and in high season is €1450. Caminetto or Cortile in low season is €1050 and in high season is €1280. Your holiday rental includes bed, bath and kitchen linen, room, water, electricity, gas, pool cleaning service. It doesn't include final cleaning, additional beds, heating, security deposit.
