Accommodation at Villa Ulivi, Florence – refined Bed and Breakfast lodging

Villa Ulivi is a beautiful and luxurious fifteenth-century Florentine villa located in a residential area in a typical Tuscan landscape a few minutes from the centre of Florence.

Over and above doubel and triple rooms, Villa Ulivi also has five suites: Alloro, Gelsomino, Glicine, Melograno and Magnolia.

Alloro, sleeping four, has a large central dining room with a sitting area comprised of a couch, a coffee table and a television, with a sofa-bed at one end of the room, and a four-person dining table with a view out to the outdoor terrace dining area and of the Cathedral Dome and the Giotto tower. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, end tables, a double closet and a wooden beamed ceiling with two skylights. The second room has a single bed and a view of the terrace; both bedrooms have a private bathroom.
The suite has an air conditioning system and a refrigerator/freezer.

Gelsomino, sleeping four, has a long central living room decorated with Tuscan artwork that gives a Florentine atmosphere, with two couches and a dining area with a view and access to the terrace dining area. It is equipped with air conditioning and a refrigerator/freezer. The first bedroom has two single beds and a skylight; it shares a bathroom with the master bedroom, which has a queen-sized bed and a high wood beam ceiling, and access to the terrace.

Glicine, sleeping four, is a ground-floor suite, with a loft-style arrangement composed of a large room with an attached kitchenette and a full bathroom. The central area is equipped with a queen sized bed at one end and a single bed at the other. There are built-in antique wooden closets, and local artwork decorates the rooms. There is a couch and two armchairs with a view of the terrace that extends to the vineyards and orchards. The suite also has a refrigerator/freezer.

Melograno is a two-storey suite that sleeps four people. The lower level is made up of one long open room with walls decorated with a Florentine marbled design and a delicate fresco around the ceiling. It has old red brick floors with white marble accents and two solid wood tables, a dining table and a breakfast table. It is also equipped with two divan beds. The upper floor contains a spacious master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a large bay window, an antique wardrobe and matching dresser, and a bathroom with washing machine. The suite has a refrigerator/freezer.

Magnolia, sleeping six people, is composed of a small loft which overlooks a living room. The room has a sitting area, with two comfortable antique chairs, and a six-person dining area. There are a high wood-beamed ceilings and fresco-decorated walls, and a breakfast table, as well as a refrigerator/freezer. The master bedroom has a high slanted ceiling, a marbled wall design and stunning wooden floors, and the large bay windows provide a view of the back patio and villa yard. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed, wardrobe, dresser and make-up table, and it leads on to a full bathroom with beautiful Vietri tiling, and to a single bedroom. There is a double room with two single beds and its own bathroom, and the last bed is located in the loft, connected to the main room by a lovely wooden winding staircase. The suite has a romantic and spacious private terrace with a table that overlooks the surrounding vineyards and olive groves.
