The villa lies in the midst of Tuscan hills and heavenly scenery. Recently refurbished, it can host up to five people (master bed, pull-out bed and a single bed upon request). Set over one floor (of 54 square metres) it contains a good-sized bedroom, bathroom with shower, spacious living room complete with kitchen, dishwasher, dining area, satellite TV and crib (upon request).
The 600m² garden is shared with the owners. Within 200 metres of the cottage there is a typical country convenience store, with fresh, wood-stove-baked bread available daily. Within 7km lies a large supermarket, pharmacy, cinema, pub, and every shop you're likely to need during your stay. You'll also find the entrance to the highway and the railway station at Firenze Signa. You'll need a car to stay here - please also ask about car and driver hire.
Within 40 minutes you can be in Greve in Chianti. Within 50 minutes you can be admiring the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or standing in the gorgeous Piazza del Campo in Siena.
And in a mere 20 minutes you can reach Florence. The principal Tuscan city, Florence is the world's most celebrated storehouse of Renaissance art and architecture. The dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore dominates the city's roofscape with the great Piazza del Duomo at its feet.
See the marvellous frescoes by Masaccio, Ghirlandaio and Uccello at Santa Maria Novella. Florence also has some of Italy's best palaces and churches. Cross the famous Ponte Vecchio and visit the Boboli Gardens; enjoy the Uffizi Gallery which houses probably the world's greatest collection of Italian Renaissance art, or see Michelangelo's famous statue of David at the Accademia di Belle Arti.
You'll also enjoy some of the best cuisine in Italy. Florentine food is based on fresh, but very basic ingredients, simply cooked.

Prices are based on a Saturday-to-Saturday rental, with arrival by 5pm and departure by 11am. Please note that (children excepted) the number of occupants cannot exceed the number of bed places. Weekly rental ranges from EURO €300 to €600 depending on the season. This includes parking, weekly change of sheets and towels, hot water and final cleaning. Prices do not include winter heating and other expenses; heating costs €8 a day. The security deposit is €150.
