The apartments, beautifully modernised, retain the traditional flavour of the estate, with stone facades, terracotta floors and exposed beams. The estate has a very nice, irregular-shaped swimming pool (around 80 m² and open from April to September). There are changing rooms and showers, a Turkish bath (on request), a barbecue, as well as spacious well cared for outdoor areas. There are eight mountain bikes for guests, and pets are allowed in appropriate areas.
There are organised guided excursions, trekking paths on the estate, mountain bike rental and repair, and dozens of courses, offering you the chance to uncover the beauty of this territory with its wild appearance and unique landscapes.
This Tuscany self catering accommodation has a perfectly restored restaurant (quite pricey) with its original stone wall facade situated just a walk away, in an idyllic setting amid olive groves and cornfields. From here you can admire an enchanting view of mediaeval Massa Marittima.
All the apartments, which range in size from 50m² to 93m², have satellite TV and living/dining rooms with kitchen corners or kitchenettes. All have double divan beds and main double bedrooms. Each has a bathroom with shower. Some are on the ground floor, one on the mezzanine, and the remainder on the first floor. In addition, Apartment Number 1 has a further bedroom with small double bed. Apartments 4, 5 and 6 have both double bedrooms and twin bedded rooms. Some of the flats have freezers.
Both studio flats cover 20 m² and lie on the ground floor. Each has a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
There are cooking lessons and a cook available, a riding school or horseback excursions within 15km, plus golf nearby. It’s 3km to Volpinaia and its grocers, 9km to Massa Marittima with its many shops, 25km to Punta Ala and 50km to Grosseto.
