Tuscany rentals - Agriturismo farmhouse offers relaxing holiday accommodation in the Maremma region of southern Tuscany.
Restructured with care and particular attention to maintaining its old shape and architecture, the house is on the slopes of Mount Aquilaia - a popular point of departure for hang-gliders who take as their landing point the great field in front of the house.

The farm has two independent apartments. The first has a double bedroom, a small bedroom, a large bathroom and a big kitchen. The second holiday apartment has two double bedrooms with the option of adding a third bed. Here there are two bathrooms, a big kitchen and a large sitting room. The farm has a laundry with washing machines in shared use.
Based on two guests, the apartments range from EURO €55 to €115 per night, or €420 to €700 for a weekly booking. Please contact your hosts for a detailed breakdown of availability, pricing, deposit, booking and cancellation procedures.
The house sits in a huge expanse of green space, decorated with a small 'museum' of old agricultural tools from the turn of the last century. Here you can watch sheep and horses and other animals walking on the fields. You can explore the lovely countryside round about by mountain bike and your hosts will be delighted to suggest tours and visits in the local area.

There is a huge amount to see. The hot sulphur springs at Saturnia provide a marvellous health cure ... as they have done since Roman times. And you can explore the Etruscan history of Tuscany, dating back to the tenth century BC, with the archaeological site at Sovana. This stunning town has a part-abandoned mediaeval centre. Meanwhile, Pitigliano, the largest town in southern Tuscany, is remarkable even in the approach. Soaring on an escarpment of volcanic tufa rock, its mediaeval buildings share the city centre with an immense old aqueduct.
