Each house and apartment has a TV with digital cable and receives worldwide channels in all languages (Astra, Eutel Sat, Hotbird). Also each house/apartment has free access to the internet (except the Terrazzina apartment). From Podere col di Leccio you can easily reach all of the cities of art in Tuscany in less than an hour by bus, train or car.
Weekly, the owners organise an extraordinary trip to Siena, the city of the Palio. Crossing through the heart of the Tuscan countryside, you first arrive at an agricultural agency immersed in the Chianti region where the production of the most famous Italian wine, Chianti Classico, will be demonstrated. After lunching in the countryside on prosciutto, crostini, wine and other exquisite traditional Tuscan products, you go to Siena, located only a few minutes away. With a professional guide you will see ancient Tuscan art from the 1300s and 1400s, seeing piazzas, churches and museums.

It is possible to purchase produce from the best Tuscan farms and factories including wines (not only Chianti), salamis and olive oil at the 'podere'. They can bring you to see other notable Tuscan cities and sites upon request, including the Etruscan city of Volterra, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the scenic Valley d'Orcia.
There are cooking, language and music courses: the owners offer full-immersion courses in Italian Language and Culture taught by excellent teachers in 2, 3 or 4-week sessions. There are also cooking courses, plus music and popular dance from Italy (music/therapy of the pizzica dance). Experience a magical holiday learning culture, art, music, and cuisine as well as relaxing!

The 'podere' is located in the heart of the Etruscan Coast, accented by a calm sea where the colours blend from emerald green to intense blue; a sea rewarded for the quality of its water by the Blue Flag of the European Union. Visit the famous white beach located only 4km away, where you will be surrounded by extremely fine, white sand. In Quercetano Bay you will find beaches of rock and sand blending in perfect harmony.

On the coast from Livorno to Piombino you will find amazing sites: Castiglioncello, Rosignano, Vada, Cecina and Marina di Castagneto. Beaches of light sand alternate with darker rock ones. A large part of the Etruscan Coast consists of parks and natural oases. History is rediscovered in medieval villages like Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Suvereto and Campiglia Marittima; historical jewels strewn throughout the heart of the hills and woods and located a short distance from the sea.
