In the farmhouse you can spend your days in absolute tranquility, sunbathing by the pool, strolling or cycling in the neighbouring woods. Those who wish to do some sightseeing by car can visit the cultural cities of Lucca (which is only 13km away), Pisa and Florence. Lucca is famous all over the world for the walls which surround it and on which you can take a walk in the shade of its numerous trees. The historic centre of the city is rich in works of art, churches, museums, and atmospheric streets where you can do some shopping. 30 minutes away by car is Pisa with its Leaning Tower; an hour’s drive away is Florence, with its museums and innumerable masterpieces.

In addition to its numerous characteristic little villages, the Parco dell’Orecchiella is well worth a visit. Here, amidst the varied wildlife you can even find wolves. Just a few kilometres from the farmhouse is the noteworthy Celle dei Puccini, home to the family of Giacomo Puccini, and where there is a museum open to the public.
