A Lucca vacation villa with swimming pool, Tuscany, Italy - 'A Chele' is a charming 18th century farmhouse situated in Tuscany. It lies in the hills with stunning views over vineyards and olive groves towards Lucca.
The property has been restored to a high standard and was finished in March 2006. The original character of the house has been preserved by using original materials including terracotta floors, chestnut beamed ceilings, and local marble. The property is situated in 26 acres of its own olive groves, vineyards and woodland in a quiet, secluded area. The house is on three floors and includes seven bedrooms, all en-suite. The Infinity swimming pool is integrated into the terraced vineyards. The south-facing loggia and patio provide beautiful views along the valley.
Sleeping 14 (with space for extras if needed), the seven bedrooms comprise seven double/twin king size, all en-suite, three with separate bath and shower. The swimming pool is 12 x 6 metres, there is satellite TV, DVD and a hifi. The villa has a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, range cooker, and microwave. The house has landscaped gardens.
The ground floor has a roomy lounge with ample seating and impressive fireplace as a focus, and with French windows leading onto a covered terrace (loggia) for al fresco dining with spectacular views towards Lucca. There is a formal dining room. The spacious farmhouse kitchen is in painted wood and marble, with plenty of storage and preparation room, including all amenities (gas fired range and oven, electric oven with integral pizza cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer), island unit, large farmhouse table for informal eating. Access to utility, pantry and laundry rooms, and access to patio area with pergola with more views. Separate cloakroom. Boot room with storage for outdoor equipment.
The first floor has a landing with access to patio via outside stairway, leading to a light-filled sitting room with triple aspect, and access to charming covered outdoor stairs to the garden.
