This apartment is superbly placed for exploring Lucca, and the other historic cities and magnificent countryside of Tuscany. Lucca is now largely a pedestrianised zone, which makes exploring this lovely old city all the more enjoyable. With your vacation rental just a short walk outside the walls, you’ll never need to use your car to get into town. The railway station, with connections to Pisa, Florence and beyond, is a few minutes walk away.

But with handy parking just outside the flat, and the motorway just 800m away, you can use your car to head out into the countryside, to the nearby beaches of the Versilian Riviera ... or even further afield. There is a supermarket and shopping mall within easy walking distance, as well as banks, shops, bars and pizzerias. Walk 50m and you’ll find a bar open until midnight.

This beautifully light and airy vacation rental in Lucca is arranged on an open-plan basis, with a kitchen and a living/dining room with wooden parquet flooring. There is a bathroom with shower, two double sofa beds, and the possibility of adding another bed.

The main entrance is through a private garden that has sun in both spring and summer ... a perfect spot for taking breakfast before you set out to explore, or for enjoying a relaxing drink at the end of a long day. The apartment has been decorated in cool and tasteful Italian style. The kitchen has a dishwasher and microwave, cooker, fridge and all cooking and eating utensils. There is a television and hifi. The owners, Andrea and Cinzia, will be on hand when you arrive. Both speak good English and will help you settle in and plan your stay in Tuscany, as well as assisting in transporting your luggage. A laundry service is available on request.

This vacation rental in Lucca sleeps up to five. Weekly rental depends on the number of guests. For two or three guests the price is EURO €390, for four or five €450. You can also take these vacation rentals in Lucca by the day (minimum three-night stay): for two or three guests the rental is €75 per night, for four or five it rises to €85 a night.

Children up to 3 years of age stay free, and your rental includes bed linen and towels, use of the kitchen, heating, gas, water and electricity, as well as use of the garden.
