Palazzo Busdraghi, with a striking, period elegance, is a new 4-star hotel in Lucca, created from an old town house of the same name in Via Fillungo, the main street in the historic centre of the town. The Lucchese would call it a 'Residenza d'Epoca'.
This Lucca hotel has seven bedrooms, all luxuriously and carefully designed. Each one has a different layout and shape, is decorated with rich fabrics in its own colour scheme and is furnished with fine antiques, such as the wardrobe that belonged to Giacomo Puccini. The old is expertly married with the new: all rooms are soundproofed and air-conditioned and have a minibar, safe, two telephones (in the bedroom and bathroom). Each room has a private bathroom, either with a hydromassage bathtub or with a hydromassage-sauna shower. There is plasma TV in every room.
At Palazzo Busdraghi you can have breakfast in the sunny ‘tapestry’ room overlooking a green corner of the town, have tea or sip your drink in the charming little reading room, or take the opportunity to relax in the sauna. During high season a double room is EURO €230, a double room used as a single €160. During low season a double room is €200, a double room used as a single €130. High season covers April, May, June, July, September and October; low season covers January, February, March, November and December. Prices are for rooms per night and include buffet breakfast, use of the sauna and all services. Parking is included. Please also ask about arrangements for the children.
