Apartments within the walls of Lucca are always highly prized, and this flat has a great location, putting you close to the cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and historic sights of this beguiling town. The apartment sleeps six, with an infant’s cot and high chair always available on request. The accommodation comprises an entrance hall, living room and a kitchen with dining area. There is a corridor, two bathrooms (one with shower enclosure, the second with bath/shower) and three bedrooms.

Throughout, the property is most elegant and is fully equipped with all the essentials plus some luxuries too. There is a washing machine and dryer, satellite TV and Wi-fi internet connection. Newly renovated, the apartment is comfortable, beautifully cared for, cosily furnished and has marble floors. The building itself is newly renovated and contains only this and two other apartments, the homes of local people.

And there is the terrace, offering guests one of the most incredible views of the city, and over the walls to the Apuan Alps. The terrace has a table and chairs – you can take a drink, relax, and soak up the atmosphere. This isn’t a holiday flat, it’s a home. Valerie, the American owner, has bought it for herself and furnished for herself and her regular visits to Lucca.
