This Lucca vacation rental, Tuscany, Italy puts you at the heart of one of the most historic, fascinating and relaxing cities in Tuscany. This apartment covers 120 square metres of the second floor of a medieval palazzo, in the historic heart of Lucca.

The apartment is completely furnished, and lies next to Piazza S. Michele, in the ‘centro storico’ of the town. Lucca itself is a beautiful medieval city encircled by massive defensive walls with parkland along the top. The walls, which remain intact from the 15th century, are a full two and a half miles in circumference, and are a popular venue for walkers, joggers, cyclists ... or those just wanting to see the scenery without, or gaze down into the town, a jumble of medieval streets, churches, palazzi and a fine cathedral (duomo). Nearby sights include the beautiful Tuscan hills and the coastline of the Versilian Riviera. Lucca is also perfect for visits into the nearby cities of Florence and Pisa.

Apartment Conte Foffo is available from May to September, and sleeps 2+2 guests. The apartment has television (though not satellite) and is air conditioned. It has a fireplace and independent central heating. The nicely equipped kitchen has oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, cooking hob and coffee maker. Pets aren’t allowed and we would have to advise this apartment isn’t suitable for families with children. A cleaner is available on request. The apartment range from EURO 500 per week.

Getting around town is easy: you won’t need a car and Lucca is compact and largely pedestrianised in the old centre. There are nearby bus stops and the main Lucca railway station is close by. You’ll find local restaurants, bars, grocers, supermarket, bank, post office, chemist/pharmacy and tennis courts. Access to the international airports at Pisa and Florence (Firenze) is quick and easy.
