Short stay holiday accommodation in the historical centre of Lucca, Tuscany, Italy

Alla Dolce Vita Guesthouse is situated just inside the walls of Lucca, a stone's throw from the 12th century church of San Frediano and a short stroll from the Roman amphitheatre, lined with open-air bars where you can sit with a glass of spumante or a gelato and watch Lucca stroll by.

The guesthouse is on the end of the Via Fillungo, Lucca's most prestigious shopping street which snakes past palaces, boutiques and restaurants in to the heart of the city. The Fillungo is at its best in the early evening, when everyone is out seeing and being seen in all their finery!

The accommodation is within easy walking distance of Lucca's attractions - the city is largely pedestrianised and it is a real pleasure to explore its winding, paved streets without worrying about traffic. Only a minute from Lucca's main gate, with nearby public parking and free parking outside the walls, you are also perfectly placed to venture out - perhaps to Pisa or the beaches of Viareggio (30 minutes) or off to Florence and the vineyards of Chianti in just over an hour.

The holiday accommodation at Alla Dolce Vita consists of spacious, traditionally furnished rooms on the first floor of a refurbished 19th century townhouse. There are three double bedrooms suitable for two to three guests, as well as a larger room which is suitable for up to four - each room has a private bathroom with shower or tub. There is a shared kitchen at the disposal of guests.

Prices (EURO per night) range from €55 to €67 for a double room (€45 to €57 for single use), and from €60 to €75 for a triple. An extra bed in the triple costs from €10 to €13. Please confirm details on booking.
