Gallillori is a lovely, well-appointed farmhouse on one of the highest points in the hills surrounding Lucca, not far from Pinocchio’s birthplace in the village of Collodi. The carefully restored, 250-year-old structure is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and chestnut trees, and looks out over the cities and countryside of Tuscany — on a clear day you can even see the sea. From this splendid vantage you can enjoy the sunset as you dine al fresco, the twinkling lights of little villages picking out the landscape. |
