Vacation villa in Tuscany, Italy

This vacation villa in Tuscany, Italy sits in a superb landscape surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. This fenced and very private property has its own swimming pool and a warm whirlpool bath for five persons.

Il Gobbo lies in Segromigno in Monte, 800 metres from the village centre. It stands on a panoramic road that passes through borghi and fattorie to eventually reach Le Pizzorne (900m above sea level). This offers a great ride for mountain bike lovers and is the Colline Lucchesi wine route.

Il Gobbo is a splendid, large country house, beautifully renovated maintaining the original structure. The property is completely fenced and therefore offers privacy and absolute tranquility. There is a swimming pool (14 x 6.3m) perfect for hot summer days. From here you can reach the highway in 15 minutes. The lovely city of Lucca is 20 minutes away, the beaches of the Versilian Riviera 40 minutes. Strada del Brennero is 15 minutes away, leading you to the marvellous mountainous Garfagnana area.

The house is set on two floors and can accommodate 12 + 3. On the ground floor there is an equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, washing machine, a four-ring hob and a large fridge. There is also an old wood stove, where you can make pizza. There is a large dining room and a living room with sofas and satellite TV. There are two double bedrooms, a room-corridor with two beds, bathroom with shower and a small laundry room. There is internet wi-fi connection.

The wooden stairs lead you to the first floor. Here there is a double bedroom with private bathroom, twin bedroom and another double bedroom. The last two share a bathroom (bathtub). Another small room-corridor (one bed) leads you to an old barn transformed into a double bedroom. This preserves the original barn features and has a large private bathroom with round bathtub and two basins.

The outdoor space is equipped with wood tables, sun beds, barbecue and slides for the children. The accommodation is rented weekly and doesn’t include the heating and electricity expenses. Stays of different lengths can be arranged during low season. On request there is a cook available at the price of Euro 25 for an hour and a cleaner and baby sitter for Euro 10 for an hour. Bed, bath and kitchen linen, heating and electricity are included in the price.

Low season (from 3rd of January to 23rd of May 2009 and from 3rd of October to 19th of December 2009): Euro 2600.
Medium season (from 23th of May to 27th of June 2009): Euro 2750.
High season (from 27th of June to 31st of August 2009): Euro 3600.
