A vacation rental property, close to Lucca, Tuscany, Le Magnolie is located in the park of a wonderful villa dating back to the 18th century. The house is set in the green of the countryside, near the village of Camigliano Santa Gemma.
The setting is a 10,000 square metre park, planted with holm oaks, olive trees, camellias and 300-year-old magnolias – all at your complete disposal for moments of pure relaxation. Close to the apartments there is a swimming pool (25 x 12 metres) surrounded by a solarium area, a gazebo equipped with tables, chairs and two barbecues, five-a-side football, a table tennis table and, for the children, a slide and swings.

Close to the pool, the cottages are in groups of two and three apartments measuring 45 square metres each; each apartment has its own entrance and an area equipped with a table and an umbrella in which to sit outside, maybe enjoying a glass of fine local wine. Inside they comprise a kitchen/dining room equipped with fridge, American coffee machine and TV, double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. The furniture is simple and comfortable. Bath and bed linen are changed weekly (on Friday). Pets are not permitted.
There is plenty to do nearby, with some very good walks. Nearby you can visit the Villa Torrigiani and, a bit further on, Villa Mansi and Villa Reale. Le Magnolie is an ideal base for visiting the near town of Lucca, as well as for trekking in the Garfagnana region and in the Apuan Alps.

Le Magnolie produces a small harvest of extra virgin oil and wine, which may be bought direct at the property, in the cantina of the villa. You can spend a day free of charge at the "bagno" Stella Bianca in Marina di Pietrasanta, on the Versilia coast. The beach is equipped with umbrellas, gazebos, seawater swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Please note that weddings and other events can be organised in the villa.

This vacation rental property, close to Lucca, Tuscany is very easy to find from the A11 Florence-Coastal motorway; Pisa airport is 35 kilometres, Florence airport 55 kilometres, the railway station at Lucca 8 kilometres, the post office at Camigliano 1 kilometre, and the nearest bank 2 kilometres away at Segromigno in Monte 2km.
