A Tuscany holiday apartment, Malbec Ave is set in the medieval city of Lucca, Italy - this is a terrific base for exploring this fascinating historic city.
This very high standard quality apartment is set in the old Roman amphitheatre in Lucca. It lies on the first floor (25 steps up) above one of the four arches of the piazza. The flat totals 150 square metres over two floors and accommodates from two to six guests. There are three double rooms and two bathrooms.
On the first floor is the hall, a large living room with two windows overlooking the piazza, large kitchen with exposed stone Roman walls, laundry with washer/dryer machine, corridor, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with bathtub. On the second floor is a small loft that serves as a small living room overlooking the main living area, bathroom with shower, twin bedroom, and a small built-in balcony in the roof of the apartment.

The apartment has been carefully refurbished and furnished in a modern style. It has air conditioning. The exposed stone Roman walls are visible in the kitchen, on the outdoor steps and near the entrance door - a real historic artistic aspect.
Built on the site of the original Roman amphitheatre, Piazza Anfiteatro is a 'must-see' in Lucca. Some original Roman elements remain, particularly within the outer walls. In Piazza Anfiteatro there is a Christmas market and Santa Zita market (April).
