Self-catering accommodation in the Lucca countryside, Tuscany – this agriturismo is on green hills surrounded by woods and olive groves.

 

For your stay at Nico you can choose between two rooms and an apartment.
Lupino apartment is furnished in a cosy traditional style and offers a comfortable double bedroom, a bathroom, a laundry room, a spacious sitting room with cooking facilities and a fire place. Extra beds can be supplied if required for children.
If you prefer you can choose one of two double bedrooms, Borlotto and Cannellino.
Borlotto is a spacious and welcoming room with a private bathroom.
Cannellino offers amazing views of the surrounding hills, but guests may be required to share the bathroom. Extra beds supplied if required for children.

Each guest house features a cosy sitting room complete with a large fireplace to keep you warm during the winter months. The houses are traditional and spacious, so although there is central heating it is suggested that you bring an extra sweater for evenings on the terrace. Out of respect for the environment unnecessary use of the central heating is avoided and the temperature in the guest accommodation does not exceed 20° C.

Prices
Lupino (apartment): 40 euro per day per person.
Borlotto (room) room: 40 euro per person per day with breakfast.
Cannellino (room) 30 euro per person per day with breakfast.
Price for extra bed is 20 euro per day. 30% discount for children aged between two and ten, children under two are free. Guests are welcome to enjoy meals at the tiny restaurant “ Il Giusto Gusto”, where typical dishes are prepared with products from Azienda Agricola Biologica Nico and other local farms.
The price for breakfast is for 5 euro per person and an evening meal is 20 euro on request. For special request the price will be from 25 to 30 Euros. The booking for dinner should be made in advance.
Guests are wecome all year round. Animals are admitted. Prices include use of electricity, water, gas, bed and bath linen on arrival, the use of the wood oven, barbecue and garden equipment. The week starts on a Saturday with arrival after 4pm and ends the following Saturday before 11am. In June, July and August weekly bookings are preferred. There are promotional offers for groups or special requests.

A supermarket, post office, bank, petrol station, newsagent, laundry, two food shops, a bakery, a butcher's, estate agency, clothes shop, hairdressers, pizzeria, chemist and garage are all within 2 km from Nico agritourism.

Activities at the Farm
If you love farming you can take an active part in the biological farm, visiting the fields in Saltocchio (a little village near Lucca) where, in every season, there are vegetables and fruit being cultivated. The Nico farm is listed as a biological and biodynamic farm in woof (www.wwoof.org) an international organization intended to link travellers who wish to work in farms with natural farming techniques.
