Situated along
the Via Vandelli, the route leading from the Versilia to Modena, the
Osteria was a stop for many travelers and merchants going to Castelnuovo
Garfagnana. From that time on nothing has changed a great deal; the
large courtyard for the horses and livestock bought at market is nowadays
used for the natural drying process of our farm products. [Local Map] [Region Map] |

The main
produce of the Osteria are based on the typical products of the Garfagnana,
such as raspberries, for the production of raspberry jam and syrups,
spelt (wheat used in the wonderful farro)and herbs, always following
the methods of biological agriculture. From centuries-old trees of a
3 hectare chestnut forest, chestnuts fruits, at the beginning of each
