The Gigetti family welcomes you to their cosy little bed and breakfast in Italy. This Lucca accommodation is set in the middle of Colline Lucchesi, one of most beautiful parts of Tuscany.
The accommodation is very cosy, within an old country house that has been completely refurbished in a traditional Tuscan style: beamed ceilings, stone walls and typical floors. There are common indoor rooms, reception, breakfast room and a beautiful garden (700m2), all perfect for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. Note that a swimming pool is available, 2km away, with a price of €5 per person. There is a hearty breakfast provided, accompanied by an espresso or a capuccino made in a restored period coffee machine.
All rooms are double and a third bed can be always added. Traditionally furnished, each room is equipped with a private bathroom, TV and heating. Every room is individual but they all share a welcoming cosiness along with all the comforts of modern life.

The village of San Gennaro is 16km away from Lucca at 250m above sea level. The panoramic views are charming. The village dates back to the 6th century - it probably became a new home for people from Naples who escaped after the Vesuvius eruption in 512 - one of the streets is called Via dei Pompei. This is a genuine, still undiscovered part of Tuscany, nevertheless it is fascinating and historic. A visit to the Pieve Romanica is a must, by the way, with its Angelo in Terracotta, recently attributed to Leonardo da Vinci.

The house is 16km from Lucca, Florence is 68km, Pisa 45km, Siena and Chianti 130km, Collodi with its Pinocchio Park 2km, Versilian coast 45km, the Maremma 100km.
High season is May-September, Easter and Christmas: double room EURO €60, double room single use €40, extra bed €20. Low season is the remainder of the year: double room €50, double room single use €40, extra bed €15. For those who book for a week there is a 20% discount. Children under 3 stay free.
