The Accommodation

Bed and Breakfast Rustico Sara is surrounded by open terraces and a garden with 2 hammocks, 2 tables, sunbeds and deck chairs. The terraces and the garden have splendid views, and are marvellously sunny spots, with shade provided by several fruit trees. Parking is available.

The villa is decorated in a traditional Tuscan style with antique furniture and many original features. The entrance hall has a wood-burning oven which can be used to bake bread and pizzas, and there is a staircase to the upper floor. The ground floor also has a spacious living room and an equipped kitchen with a fireplace. Facilities at B&B Rustico Sara include a microwave oven, two fridges, a dishwasher, two washing machines, satellite TV and a compact stereo.

There are five bedrooms (four doubles and a twin) for a total accommodation of 10 guests - each of the bedrooms has a mini-fridge. The four bathrooms are decorated in a modern, elegant style - all have showers. The house has great natural light and wonderful views from its many windows.

The welcome at B&B Rustico Sara is warm and friendly - Umberto and Pinuccia are on hand to welcome you each morning with a breakfast of freshly baked bread and biscuits, homemade jams and honey. Umberto is also willing to lend his help if you want to improve your Italian.

COTTAGE GIUSI

Cottage Giusi is just 10 metres from Rustico Sara. There are 2 bedrooms accommodating 4 guests. The house consists of one double room with spacious terrace, offering panoramic view, and one twin room. There is an airy and bright living room with fireplace, a modern well equipped kitchen (micro and electric wave, fridge, dishwasher) and a bathroom with shower. The house is decorated in a traditional Tuscan style with stone walls, wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. In the garden, you can enjoy your lunch in the shadow of a lovely gazebo or swim in the swimming pool (that is going to be available from the end of this year). Just one km away there is a vineyard which can be visited by guests. During October you can assist with the grape harvest and all the phases of wine making. On request you can take a cooking course which takes place in the wine cellar "La Bottega del Fattore" in Castelnuovo. It consists of wine tasting, food preparation and, of course, the dinner itself. The cost is just €25.

Prices: Bed and Breakfast or Villa rental from 1st April to 15th October

The accommodation at Rustico Sara consists solely of bed and breakfast during the summer and early autumn, but during the rest of the year it is possible to take the entire villa as a holiday rental. The house has central heating but this is not included in the rental price.

Rustico Sara and Cottage Giusy may both be booked for periods of less than a week (min 4 days) and starting on any day of the week. Prices can be calculated from the weekly rate.
