The villa consists, on the ground floor, of entrance hall, central living room and two small side living rooms, plus dining room and kitchen both opening on to the garden where there is a lovely gazebo and stone dining table. Also on the ground floor there is a storage room, WC, and double bedroom with bathroom with shower.

A marble staircase leads to the the first floor where there are four bedrooms with bathrooms, two with double beds and two with twin beds. Two of the bedrooms open onto to a large (60 sqm) terrace supplied with garden furniture. All bedrooms have air-conditioning with independent thermostat and there is Wi-Fi internet access. Furnishings including carpets are all original antiques, and this delightful bright villa really gives a taste of elegant living in times past.

The advantages of staying in holiday accommodation outside the ancient city walls of Lucca are numerous: there is more space and light, there are no problems with parking (there are two parking spaces inside the villa gates and further spaces outside), there is a garden to enjoy, and bicycles are supplied so that you can reach the historic town centre on cycle paths in a matter of moments. Directly inside Porta Sant'Anna there is the bus station and tourist information office, while the Lucca motorway entrance in only 5 minutes away. The bustling Sant'Anna area between the villa and the city walls supplies your every need from banks, chemists and shops to bars and a church.
