Il Tirasotto is a charming semi-detached cottage on the Villa Ghiaia near Lucca, Tuscany. The cottage has a large garden and guests have access to the shared swimming pool and to a cotta-tiled solarium. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woodland, the farm is in a panoramic spot with views down over the coastal plains.

Simply but stylishly decorated, with traditional beamed ceilings, the cottage offers comfortable holiday accommodation for 4 to 5 guests on two floors:

Ground floor: large kitchen (cooker, oven, fridge, freezer), dining room and spacious living room with a panoramic view. The living room has an open fireplace and a single sofa bed. Bathroom (shower and WC).

Upper floor: Double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom (shower).

Villa Ghiaia offers an excellent range of holiday services including wine and olive oil tours, helicopter trips, courses and even weddings in its little chapel.

Handy for the beach (20km), the walled city of Lucca (18km) and the miracles and tower of Pisa (30km), it makes an excellent base for explorations and excursions in Tuscany. Easy daytrips include the Cinque Terre, the alpine nature reserves of the Garfagnana and the historical and artistic treasures of Florence and Siena. Guided tours and transport are available by arrangement.
