Although the road down the hill is winding and rather narrow at points, it is fully asphalted and the fascinating town of Lucca can be reached in only 15 minutes. From here there is access to Florence, Siena, Pisa and the seaside, while exploring the Lucca area itself with its many villas, wineries and natural treasures is not to be missed.
