This is a recently restored self-catering rental apartment adjacent to but completely independent of Casa Sbarra. This large property, also known as Villa Sbarra, is found in the small village of Gabbiana near Bagnone in the Lunigiana region of northern Tuscany, an area rich with history, ancient castles and traditional folklore.

Access to the apartment is up an ancient staircase and the entrance hall leads to a bedroom on the right and a kitchen/living room on the left. The bedroom has two beds and a sofabed, and with the addition of a child's bed could sleep a family of up to two adults and two children.

The kitchen/living room is spacious and welcoming, with everything you need to make your holiday in this fascinating area of Tuscany comfortable. The bathroom has a shower and quick water heater.

The outside terrace, which offers views over the park of Villa Casa Sbarra, is accessed from the kitchen/living room and down a few steps. This terrace/outdoor sitting room is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your surroundings, and when the sun becomes too much you can retreat to the comfort of a large sunshade.

The Lunigiana is often described as 'unspoilt Tuscany', and it's true that here you are away from the picture-postcard soft rolling hills of Chianti. But you're also away from their hustle, bustle and prices. Around here you'll find the definitive time-standing-still hill and mountain top villages, yet drive down to the coast and you have the joys of the Versilian coastline, the history of La Spezia and the magic of the Cinque Terre.

Prices
Prices per week are: Euro 600 in July and August and Euro 400 in May, June and September.
