Choose from one of three restored farmhouses for rent in the countryside between Pisa and the ancient Etruscan town of Volterra. These holiday farmhouses in Tuscany share a pool and make a great starting point for excursions to the Mediterranean coast and the Maremma.
Borgo Fajani is set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, at the crest of a hill overlooking vineyards and olive groves. A group of typical houses, they were once home to the local farmers and are now completely restored while maintaining the Tuscan rustic feel.
The restoration works at Borgo Fajani have been carried out keeping as a priority the comfort of guests. Each of the houses is completely independent and the rooms are very spacious – you’ll find no mezzanine bedrooms or sofa beds here! Each house has a pergola patio, set in the old coach houses, overlooking the terraced gardens and the swimming pool.
From the houses, the gardens and the patios the picture postcard view is absolutely breathtaking. Borgo Fajani forms the south-facing part of Casanova, a small and quiet country village. It is the perfect location for a few days of relaxation as well as an excellent base for exploring the region. Tuscany’s main towns are nearby, with San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence and Siena all lying within 40 miles, and the seaside is only 30 miles away.
