Villa Orsini provides luxurious holday rental apartments in a historic Tuscan villa estate, within the village of Casciana Alta. Originally owned by the powerful Orsini family of Rome, who have produced two Popes, this grand villa once was the centre of a large 260 hectare farm. It was the main source of employment for the surrounding community up until the year 1985.
The current facade of the villa dates from the 19th century, but the original structure dates back to the 15th century. Over the years the building was added to, and annexes and extensions grew out of the original fortified structure. Many different styles are in evidence throughout the villa from Renaissance and Neoclassical to the Baroque - each period has left its own distinctive mark upon the house. The villa sits within the village, overlooking the main square, and from the rear it looks out over the large gardens and the lush Tuscan countryside.

The house has been carefully renovated and converted into lovely holiday apartments. It stands in a large expanse of parkland that includes a Japanese garden for meditating in, and there is a restaurant in an adjoining building that provides sumptuous local delicacies and fine vegetarian dishes.

There are many activities within Villa Orsini to keep you occupied including:
- A billiard room
- Table football
- Table tennis
There is also a bowling green, and a large 7x16 m swimming pool in the gardens,
with changing facilities, for you to cool off in.
